Electrical Tester
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to join our team on a busy residential development. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with testing and inspection experience to work on a high quality housing project.
Electrical Tester Responsibilities
* Carry out inspection, testing, and certification of residential electrical installations.
* Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) where required.
* Identify and report faults, ensuring all work complies with current regulations.
* Work closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
* Maintain accurate testing records and documentation.
Electrical Tester Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
* City & Guilds 2391-52 (or 2391/2394 & 2395) Inspection & Testing qualification.
* ECS/JIB Gold Card.
* Good understanding of the current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
* Previous experience testing electrical installations on residential developments.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Own testing equipment and calibrated tester (preferred/essential – amend as required).
