About the Role
Immediate starts are available for experienced Class 2 Drivers looking for ongoing day work in Trafford. This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular agency work with well-established transport and logistics companies, offering competitive rates of pay, weekly PAYE payroll and consistent daytime shifts.
As a Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for completing palletised deliveries and collections to commercial customers across the region. This role is ideal for professional drivers who enjoy regular day work and take pride in providing a reliable and efficient delivery service.
Typical start times are around 7:00am, offering consistent daytime hours and ongoing work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
* Completing palletised deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
* Loading and unloading goods using pallet trucks where required.
* Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
* Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
* Providing a professional and courteous service to customers at every delivery point.
* Communicating effectively with the transport office regarding deliveries and collections.
* Working in full compliance with Driver Hours, the Working Time Directive and all road transport regulations.
* Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and road safety at all times.
Requirements
We're looking for reliable and professional Class 2 Drivers who take pride in their work, communicate well with customers and understand the importance of safe, compliant driving.
To be considered, you'll need:
A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year.
At least 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 penalty points.
No DR, DD, CD or IN endorsements, or any convictions resulting in a driving ban or disqualification.
A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work.
