Electrical Assembler
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday | 06:30 - 17:00 (Four-day working week)
Salary: £14.00 - £16.50+ per hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Stonetech Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury to recruit an Electrical Assembler.

The Role
As an Electrical Assembler, you'll be responsible for assembling, wiring and testing electrical control panels to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels, cabinets and enclosures to engineering specifications.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
*
Install and wire components including PLCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers and terminal blocks.
*
Carry out cable preparation, crimping, stripping and termination.
*
Complete point-to-point and continuity testing to ensure quality and functionality.
*
Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet company quality standards.
*
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area while following health and safety procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or panel building (preferred).
*
Can confidently read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
*
Is competent using hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment.
*
Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
*
Is reliable, punctual and enjoys working as part of a team.
*
Has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
