We are working with a well-established main contractor that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality industrial, logistics and commercial projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer for a major project in Grimsby.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor on a long-term project with the potential for future work upon completion.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Setting out for all aspects of the project.
* Managing QA and quality inspections.
* Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
* Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries.
* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to specification.
* Supporting the Site and Project Managers with day-to-day engineering duties.
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor.
* Experience on industrial, logistics, commercial or large-scale construction projects.
* Competent using Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
* Strong understanding of QA procedures and site documentation.
* CSCS Card essential.
* SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence.
