Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Clacton-on-Sea - September Start
Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive and welcoming school in Clacton-on-Sea, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children in their learning and helping them reach their full potential within a positive and inclusive school environment.
The school is looking for a committed practitioner with strong communication skills, a patient and nurturing approach, and a genuine desire to support pupils both academically and socially.
📌 CONTRACT DETAILS
Location - Clacton-on-Sea
Position - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Type of work - Classroom and learning support
Start date - September
Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
Full time/part-time - Full time
Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm
📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting children in a UK school setting (placements accepted)
Relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualifications desirable
Experience working with pupils with additional learning needs is beneficial
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child-related references
