Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a Production Operative with a Forklift Licence to start work for our client based in Haslingden, Lancashire.
Candidates MUST have their own transport.
Duties include:
* Carry out production and assembly tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
* Operate machinery, equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
* Complete assigned production tasks to meet daily production schedules and targets. Maintain accurate production records where required.
* Ensure products meet company quality standards and follow all quality system requirements.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with 6S standards.
* Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe practices.
* Work flexibly across different production areas when required.
* Participate in training, team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
* Maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is essential.
* Experience using hand tools or small machinery is beneficial.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Comfortable heavy lifting and manual handling.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Pay is starting at £14.70 an hour which may increase after 6 months of employment.
Hours are based on a rotating shift pattern, both day shift 06:00 - 18:00 and night shift 18:00 - 06:00.
