HGV Class 1 Driver - New Pass Drivers Welcome
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay Rate: £16.91 per hour
Enhanced Rates: Weekend & Bank Holiday working available at enhanced rates
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 starts, averaging 10-12 hours per shift

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers to join our clients operation based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced drivers and new pass Class 1 drivers looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and professional transport team.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you'll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The role offers regular daytime work with 06:00 start times and average shifts of 10-12 hours.

Key Responsibilities
Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
Completing daily vehicle safety inspections
Carrying out deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally
Following planned routes and schedules
Ensuring compliance with Driver CPC, Working Time Directive and Drivers' Hours regulations
Completing delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentation
Representing the company professionally at customer sites
Essential Requirements
Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV Class 1 / Category CE Licence
Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of transport legislation and road safety
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Reliable and customer-focused approach
