Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant - Basingstoke Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in the Basingstoke area. This role involves working with children and young people who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support that helps pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop important life skills. Support may be delivered on a 1:1 basis or through small‑group interventions, depending on the needs of individual pupils. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.
