Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Lower Thames
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a major civils and infrastructure project in the Lower Thames area.
This is a predominantly site-based role suited to a commercially strong QS with solid NEC experience and a background in civil engineering/infrastructure.
The role will focus on:
* Change management and cost capture
* Issuing contractual notices
* Identifying and protecting commercial entitlement
* Recording and notifying programme impacts
* Managing commercial risk and project costs
* Working closely with site and project teams
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong civils/infrastructure QS experience
* Excellent knowledge of NEC contracts, ideally NEC3
* Experience with Defined Cost / Option E
* Strong understanding of change and contractual notifications
* A proactive, commercially astute approach
The project has significant commercial activity, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to make a real impact.
