Senior Surveyor
Contract Type: Temporary (4 months)

Day Rate: Negotiable
Job Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days from home)
We are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join a large housing association on a temporary basis. This role is crucial for overseeing a small team of surveyors and ensuring high standards of repairs and maintenance across our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management and a proven track record in leading repair projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee a team of Repair Officers, Surveyors, and Senior Surveyors carrying out responsive repairs.
Carry out pre and post inspections
Manage contractors effectively, ensuring clear communication and continuous improvement.
Contract manage main repairs contractors, taking into account the variances in these relationships.
Support the regional team with various support duties as required.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Extensive experience in Surveying within Social Housing including Day to day repairs and Disrepair
Strong leadership skills with experience
Proven experience in contract management.
Ability to handle customer interactions positively and transparently.
High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
