Bricklayer
East Yorkshire | £17 - £18 per hour | Temp to Perm
Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Bricklayer to join a growing business based in East Yorkshire. This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position offering varied work across local construction and refurbishment projects, with occasional work away elsewhere in the UK.
The role
Laying bricks and blocks to the required standard
Constructing and repairing walls and other structures
Setting out work and preparing mortar
Ensuring work is level, aligned and completed accurately
Completing pointing and finishing work
Reading and working from plans where required
Maintaining a safe and organised working area
Travelling between customer sites
Occasionally working away across the UK
What we're looking for
Previous professional bricklaying experience
Strong practical ability and a high standard of workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of site health and safety
Willingness to travel and occasionally work away
Full UK driving licence
