Job Description
Stridden Limited are recruiting on behalf of an established property maintenance and refurbishment contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Carpenter on a Temp to Perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business carrying out high-quality insurance reinstatement, renovation and refurbishment projects across domestic and commercial properties within approximately one hour of Burton Latimer.
Key Duties
* Carrying out all aspects of 2nd Fix Carpentry
* Hanging internal and external doors
* Fitting architraves, skirting boards, door frames and ironmongery
* Completing high-quality finishing carpentry
* Working on renovation and refurbishment projects
* Undertaking insurance repair and reinstatement works
* Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
* Liaising professionally with site teams and customers
Requirements
* Blue CSCS Card – Essential
* Proven experience as a Carpenter (references)
* Strong background in 2nd Fix Carpentry
* Experienced in hanging doors, fitting architraves and all finishing works
* Previous experience working on renovation and insurance reinstatement projects is advantageous
* Own tools essential
* Full UK Driving Licence essential
* Reliable, professional and able to work independently
