Quantity Surveyor – Utility-Scale Solar Project | Saginaw County, MI We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of a large-scale solar farm project in Saginaw County, Michigan. This contract opportunity offers 50 hours per week and will play a key role in the commercial management of the project, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting throughout the construction phase. Key Responsibilities * Manage project costs, budgets, and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. * Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor packages and contracts. * Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Assess and value variations, change orders, and contractor claims. * Prepare interim valuations, progress reports, and final accounts. * Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Requirements * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on utility-scale renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or heavy industrial construction projects. * Previous experience supporting solar EPC projects is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. * Ability to work on-site in Saginaw County for the duration of the project.
