The successful candidate will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.
The ideal candidate:
Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Is patient, caring and understanding
Can build strong relationships with pupils
Is confident supporting challenging behaviour and additional needs
Works well as part of a team
Has a genuine passion for helping children reach their potentialSEN experience is essential, and experience within a specialist school or with ASD would be highly desirable
