Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Groundworkers / Plant Operatives to join a long-term project with opportunities available across Fife and Alloa
We are looking for reliable, experienced operatives with relevant site competencies to join the team.
The Role
Groundworks and general civils duties on site
Operating plant where appropriately qualified
Supporting the wider site team and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
Working Monday to Friday – no weekend work
Essential Requirements
Valid UK Driving Licence
Valid CSCS Card or equivalent certification, such as CPCS or NPORS
Experience working within a civil engineering / groundworks environment
Plant Competencies Required Within the Squad
Dumper
Roller
Plant Vehicle Marshall (PVM)
You do not need to hold all of the above – the requirement is for these competencies to be covered across the squad.
Desirable Training / Authorisations
Scottish Power (SP) authorisations / COMP
CAT & Generator
HSG47
Excavation Marshall
Please note: SP authorisations are not essential, although candidates holding these would be highly advantageous.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:30
Friday: 07:30 – 15:00
Weekends: No work
Start Date
Monday 24th August 2026, or sooner.
There is also work available at Alloa from Wednesday 19th August for suitable candidates.
