We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to work across the Nottingham area for a well-established social housing contractor.
This is a long-term opportunity working on repairs and maintenance within void and occupied social housing properties.
We’re looking for experienced Multi-Trade Operatives with a strong background in social housing repairs, property maintenance, refurbishment or reactive maintenance.
As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be:
Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties
Completing plumbing repairs, bathroom repairs and general multi-trade works
Undertaking additional trades including plastering, tiling, carpentry and decorating where skilled
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard
Working professionally within tenants’ homes
Managing your own workload and completing jobs efficiently
Completing electronic paperwork and following health and safety proceduresWe’re Looking For:
Proven experience in social housing repairs or property maintenance
Strong plumbing and multi-trade skills
Experience in plastering, tiling, carpentry or decorating is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship
Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
Full UK driving licence
DBS may be required in the future
No formal trade qualifications required – practical experience is keyIn return, the Multi Trade Operative will receive:
£170–£180 per day
Weekly pay (CIS payments available)
Fuel covered
5 days per week
Long-term ongoing work
Monday to Friday
Immediate start available
Regular workload with an established contractorLocation & Travel
The role covers Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Candidates will be expected to travel between customer properties throughout the day.
