PK Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our supply team and work across secondary schools in Sheffield from September.
This role would suit someone who enjoys the variety of working in different school environments. You'll step into lessons when teachers are absent, follow the work provided and make sure students remain focused and productive.
Rather than being tied to one department, you'll work across a mixture of subjects and year groups, so being adaptable and confident in unfamiliar classrooms is key.
What you'll be doing:
Taking responsibility for classes across KS3 and KS4
Delivering work set by teaching staff
Maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom
Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
Supporting students with the work provided
Feeding back any issues to the relevant staff
We're looking for:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils
Confidence managing a classroom independently
Good communication and behaviour management skills
Someone reliable and adaptable
Availability for full-time supply
