Repairs Supervisor - Social Housing

Rate: £21-£24 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join their team covering West London. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term role within a reputable organisation delivering essential maintenance services to residents.
The Role
As a Repairs Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day responsive repairs operations, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You will manage a team of operatives and subcontractors while acting as a key point of contact for clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of trades operatives across multiple sites
Allocate and monitor works to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met
Carry out pre- and post-inspections of repair works
Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards
Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and client representatives
Manage materials, workload distribution, and job progress using PDA systems
Handle escalations and resolve complaints in a professional manner
Requirements
Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing or a similar environment
Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
Experience managing responsive repairs and maintenance contracts
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
