Family Support Worker

Job Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join St Helens Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: * Support social workers with assessments and care planning * Deliver practical and hands-on support to families in their homes * Supervise Family Time (contact sessions) between children and families * Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews * Work closely with partner agencies to support families effectively About You * Experience working with children, young people, or families * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Ability to manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner * Full UK Drivers Licence and own vehicle Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you
