Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Temporary, full-time About the Role Our client, a respected Housing Association in Nottinghamshire, is looking for a Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the community, supporting residents and helping ensure they enjoy safe, well-managed homes. As a Housing Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for tenants, helping to resolve issues, manage tenancies, and support residents through day-to-day challenges. You’ll work with a friendly and collaborative team who are passionate about providing excellent housing services. What You’ll Be Doing: * Managing a caseload of properties and residents with professionalism and care. * Responding to enquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively. * Supporting tenants with tenancy-related matters, including rent, repairs, and welfare issues. * Working alongside colleagues and partner agencies to resolve housing challenges. * Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure smooth operations. * Contributing to a positive community environment for all residents. Who We’re Looking For: * Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. * Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities. * Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management is a plus. * Empathetic, approachable, and able to work with diverse communities. * Experience in housing, social work, or customer-focused roles is desirable but not essential.
