Overview
I am currently recruiting for a Speech & Language Therapist to work with my client in Kent.
You will be working in an independant SEN school providing 1:1 sessions.
They are looking for someone to work with, and advise, teaching staff with the aim this year to embed therapeutic practice by supporting staff with training and in class interventions.
This is a long term contract (term-time only) with no end date specified. We are expecting 1 year+.
The Role
Delivering 1:1 Speech & Language Therapy interventions within an SEN school setting
Supporting pupils with a range of communication and additional learning needs
Working closely with teaching staff to embed therapeutic strategies into daily classroom practice
Providing training, advice, and practical support to school staffRequirements
At least 1 years postgraduate experience working within a school environment
HCPC registered
Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech & Language Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)What's on offer
Negotiable pay rate
5 days per week
Regular training & clinical supervision
