Temporary Nursery Chefs – London
💷 £16 per hour | ⏰ Typical shifts: 7:00am – 4:00pm
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Temporary Chefs to work across a range of nurseries throughout London. This is a fantastic opportunity for chefs who are passionate about preparing nutritious meals for young children in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, cook, and present healthy, balanced meals tailored to children
* Cater for allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
* Follow food safety procedures, including temperature checks and record keeping
* Prevent cross-contamination and comply with all health & safety regulations
Requirements:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
* Allergy Awareness training
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and children’s nutritional needs
* Experience working in a similar environment (nursery, school, or care setting preferred)
Compliance:
* Enhanced DBS is required (we can support you with the application if needed)
