We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school teams in Birmingham. You will play a vital role in empowering pupils with additional needs to thrive both academically and socially.
What You'll Be Doing
1:1 & Small Group Support: Provide tailored assistance to pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Adapting Learning: Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to differentiate lesson plans and prepare specialized resources.
Implementing Plans: Help deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and follow targets set out in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Promoting Independence: Encourage pupils to develop self-regulation skills, confidence, and social interaction.
